Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing treatment plans, including behavior management strategies.
- Document patient interactions and progress accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities, including cognitive behavioral therapy sessions and group counseling.
- Support case management efforts by coordinating with other healthcare providers and family members.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in training sessions related to telehealth services as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a mental health setting is preferred, particularly in hospitals or outpatient facilities.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with ICD-9 coding is advantageous.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy principles.
- Experience or training in child family counseling is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
