What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician/Receptionist position at Family Eye Care Monroe?
We are looking for a caring, detail-orientated, and responsible person to:
-Greet patients
-Answer questions in person and on the phone.
-Schedule appointments, address insurance questions
-Perform preliminary exams to get the patient ready to see the doctor.
-Check out: create invoices, submit certain vision plan claims, and deal with different types of payments. ( cash credit/debit cards, care credit, etc).
-Transition the patient to dispense contact lenses and or spectacles.
-Assist with I&R(insertion and removal) trainings for new contact lens wearers
-Order contact lens supplies and trials
-Maintain office area clean (vacuum, dust, etc)
Applicant will be trained to proficient with electronic health records and diagnostic optometric equipment.
Competitive salary, experience preferred but not necessary.

Pay: Starting from $14/hour plus achievable bonuses
