An optometry technician assists optometrists in providing patient care, performing preliminary eye examinations, administering diagnostic tests, maintaining equipment and records, and instructing patients on contact lens use and care. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency with computer software and medical terminology.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
