Operations Execution Phase (Full-time) -
- Serve as employed PIC for Family First Health Pharmacy;
- Works with the Pharmacy Operations Director to develop planning and strategy for health center pharmacy services, using a patient centered, growth mindset;
- In collaboration with the Pharmacy Operations Director, assist with the day-to-day pharmacy/ clinical and business operations of the onsite pharmacy;
- Supervises and coaches the pharmacists and the pharmacy technicians to maintain a competent staff to manage the daily workflow of the pharmacy;
- Oversees purchasing of the outpatient pharmacy’s inventory to control costs while meeting patient dispensing needs;
- Present health center pharmacy operational reports to leadership as applicable;
- Stays updated with current trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in pharmacy practice to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to healthcare providers;
- Maintains strict adherence to regulatory policies;
- Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment;
- Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients;
- Demonstrates a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers;
- Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.
- Current, active PA Pharmacist license
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (RPh) or Pharmacy doctoral degree (PharmD) from an accredited Pharmacy College or University
- Minimum of 5 years of retail/ outpatient pharmacy experience as a supervisor or manager;
- Flexibility in hours worked through phases of the project;
- Strong computer proficiency and experience;
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills to work effectively with the health center staff in making recommendations, assisting in problem solving concerning the provision of health center pharmacy services, supervising, training and leading staff to excellent service delivery.
- Knowledge and experience with 340B programs and oversight;
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies, such as, but not limited to the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and Department of Public Health;
- Bi-lingual preferred;
- Experience working with Medicaid population;
- Experience or familiarity working within Federally Qualified Health Centers;
- Demonstrated success working within multi-disciplinary teams including medical providers, social workers, and community health workers;
- Clinical, business and analytical skills;
- Direct experience working with Medicaid and Medicare programs, PBMs, and third-party insurance groups;
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, exemplifying a high level of problem solving and decision-making skills;
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.
