Urgent Job Opening: RN and LPN for Pediatric Home Care – Family First HomeCare
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Wauchula, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Preference for 1 nurse to cover all shifts)
About the Position:
Family First HomeCare is urgently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a pediatric home care case. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a 16-year-old patient with an active lifestyle. The patient is an average-sized teen who enjoys spending time outdoors, including bike rides, listening to music, and dancing. The nurse will support the patient during these activities, and may assist in riding along with him in a wagon while biking.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those with feeding tubes (G-tube).
- Ability to be physically active and engage with the patient during outdoor activities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow medical protocols.
- Full training shift is required before picking up regular shifts, provided by the Primary Caregiver (PCG).
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric home setting.
- Assist with activities such as bike rides, outdoor play, and other physical activities.
- Administer G-tube care and any other medical treatments as needed.
- Follow all care protocols and provide support to the family.
