Do you have a passion for helping others and strive to make a difference in the community you live? Family Foot and Ankle Clinic is a private practice Podiatry Clinic serving 7 locations in Wisconsin, and we are seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team.
The Medical Assistant Supervisor) works under the Clinic Manager to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours. This position assists the Clinic Manager in training new and existing staff in all locations. In addition, the Lead CMA works to facilitate clinic workflow, assist patients, provide seamless delivery of care for each patient, process improvement initiatives, and supply ordering.
Hours: 8:00 am -5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Travel: Applicant must have the ability to travel to our other facilities outside of Weston to include Antigo, Merrill, Shawano, and Stevens Point as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage medical assisting staff, scheduling shifts, and assigning tasks
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with patient examinations
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage patient flow
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Assist in the training and development of new medical assisting staff
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order as needed
- Assist healthcare professionals as needed
- Handle patient data and maintain high confidentiality
- Address patient queries and ensure patient satisfaction
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong patient service orientation with a focus on compassionate care.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Leadership experience highly desired
-CMA certification highly desired but not required
-Ideal candidates are well-organized, have excellent communication skills, and can multitask effectively.
