POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dental Assistant will serve our community side by side with our dental team to ensure dental education and care is provided to our patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet patients; monitor arrival time; escort patients, monitor patient flow at all times, and prep patients for treatment.
- Responsible to prepare treatment rooms and materials according to policies and procedures; includes sterilization and disinfection of instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials.
- Takes and records medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient (informs dentist).
- Assists dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies.
- Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have high school diploma
- Previous dental office experience (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
- X-Ray Certification (required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
