The Dental Care Specialist provides general dental treatment for patients, including oral disease diagnosis and treatment. Essential job functions include performing comprehensive oral evaluations using radiographs, periodontal charting, and impressions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documents and charts extra oral and intraoral hard and soft tissue findings.
- Performs comprehensive care on patients of all ages.
- Formulates, discusses, and agrees upon treatment plan options with patients.
- Extracts teeth, performs root canals, removes caries from teeth, prepares teeth for fillings, and inserts material such as amalgam and composite.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
