POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for assisting in management of the FHC Computer System. Specific responsibilities include assistance with ongoing system maintenance (hardware and software), troubleshooting, user support and general office duties associated with MIS. Adheres to Corporate Compliance program, by reporting improper or unethical conduct, violation of applicable laws, regulations or program requirements.
DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- User support.
- Trouble shooting of system problems; i.e., lockups, system errors and hardware component malfunction as required.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software located throughout the organization.
- Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of excess MIS equipment.
- Provide hardware installation support and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain user accounts and access levels and provide organized documentation of these accounts.
- Assist with systems start-up/shutdown/daily posting as needed.
- Provide programming for FHC fax machines.
- Research better means of providing quality service to FHC.
- Provide training to employees as required.
- Set-up laptop / projector / AV equipment necessary for FHC presentations.
- Provide telecommunications support for phone systems in each center; i.e. unlock voice mailboxes, set up voice mailboxes, delete voice mailboxes.
- Work with telecommunications provider to solve phone system issues.
- Work with telecommunications provider to solve data circuit connectivity interruptions.
- Assist in ordering, distributing, and maintaining cellular telephones company-wide
- Produce reports as specified.
- Maintain provider files as they pertain to Intergy.
- Provide system maintenance for Intergy.
- Assist in Intergy implementation as necessary.
- Provide Intergy support to providers and staff.
- Maintain wireless equipment assigned to providers / offices.
- Assist in EOHR implementation as necessary.
- Provide EOHR support to providers and staff.
- Maintain wireless equipment assigned to providers / offices.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of PC hardware components, networking components, wireless and VOIP telephone systems
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, MAC Operating systems, and virtual environments
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and MS Access.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Intergy.
- Knowledge of overall office procedures in a clinical practice.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and written communication.
- Proficiency with building directories, transferring files and maintaining data in PC and Citrix systems.
- Ability to work closely with MIS Manager in team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of local area networks and related hardware and software.
- Knowledge of wide area networks and related hardware and software.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred Associates degree with a major in Computer Science or equivalent Information Technology field.
- Demonstrate initiative, motivation and strong human relation skills
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to provide reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel to the centers regularly, as required to provide support.
- Problem solving, logical trouble shooting skills.
- Strong organization skills; and must be able to prioritize according to FHC needs.
- Must be able to work independently.
