Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day. |

Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate. |

Provide efficiencies in managing patients and scheduling of appointments. |

Demonstrate organizational and problem solving skills, initiative, and good judgment. |

Handle and resolve customer complaints and challenging customers with patience and understanding, engaging the supervisor when appropriate. |

Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff. |

Perform accurate and timely scheduling of inpatient and outpatient imaging tests including MRI, CT, Bone Densitometry scans, Ultrasounds, Mammograms, fluoroscopy and biopsies. |

Verify insurance and obtain preauthorization information when needed. |
9. |
Informs patients of co-pay amounts, answers questions to the best of their ability, and/or refers them to a preauthorization specialist. |

Instruct patients to bring the appropriate information (i.e., driver’s license and insurance cards). |
11. |
Clerical duties such as answering telephone calls in a professional manner, computer skills, data entry , faxing, shredding, etc. |
12. |
Ability to communicate to patients’ information related to their appointments (i.e., prep information for test, directions, canceling/rescheduling of test, etc.) and any other question callers may ask. |
13. |
Makes reminder phone calls to patients the day before their appointments. |
14. |
Proficient in policies and procedures related to the radiology department and facility. |
15. |
Attend meetings as required to maintain departmental communications. |

Education |
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. |

Licenses |
No professional license required. |
3. |
Certifications |
No professional certification required. |
4. |
Experience |
2 years related experience in the medical field and a minimum of one year working with insurance companies is preferred. |
Wage Range: $17.50 - $29.79
