Responsibilities

- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Perform procedures such as administering immunizations, managing acute conditions, and conducting vital sign assessments.
- Provide psychopharmacology support for patients requiring medication management.
- Engage in discharge planning for patients transitioning out of care settings.
- Participate in urgent care services as needed, addressing acute health issues promptly.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or equivalent licensure.
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as infectious disease care, pain management, ICU experience, and sterile processing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in senior care or discharge planning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with pediatric nursing practices.
