What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Intern position at Family HealthCare?
Family HealthCare is looking to add an Information Technology intern to provide excellent customer service support to end users. This internship offers practical work experience, an introduction to Windows desktop support and an opportunity to gain experience with the technical operations of a small nonprofit organization.
Duties include but are not limited to;
- Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.
- Provide user level technical support for end users, computers, printers, etc.
- Provide user level training on daily applications used including Microsoft Office, Adobe and other basic computer related skills.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is a junior or senior level college student majoring in Information Technology.
- Must have volunteer or work experience with computer desktop support.
- Must be available and willing to commit to at least three (3) months initially for an internship.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: no nights, weekends, or holidays
- Flexible: can work anywhere between 10-30 hours per week to fit your schedule
