Overview
We are looking for a reliable skilled caregiver to help with an elderly woman. 12 hour shifts. 7 days a week. Phoenix, Ahwatukee area. Looking to interview as soon as posable.
Duties
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
- Observe and document patient behavior and vital signs to ensure their well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences while promoting healthy eating habits.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through social interaction and emotional support.
Experience
- Previous experience in social work or patient care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medication administration and vital sign monitoring is advantageous.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patience in caregiving situations.
- Ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
