We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PAR Supervisor to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in patient registration or related field
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Health Care Administration or related field
- 5 years of experience in patient registration or related field
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Certification in Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) or Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Patient Access Registration department
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for patient access services to enhance quality and compliance.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate PAR staff to ensure high-performance standards and professional development.
- Monitor and manage department workflow to optimize resource allocation and achieve productivity targets.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies regarding patient information and registration.
- Analyze and report on department performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Handle escalated issues and resolve complex registration and access concerns promptly.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring processes to build a skilled and effective PAR team.
- Ensure that all patient registration processes are completed accurately and efficiently
- Manage a team of registration staff and ensure that they are meeting performance goals
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience

As a PAR Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership skills to effectively manage your team and ensure that all patient registration processes are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and provide a high level of patient satisfaction. In addition, you will need to have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes to ensure that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date. Finally, experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and certification in Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) or Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) is preferred, as it will help you to streamline processes and improve departmental efficiency.
