Family Insight, P.C. is a well-established community-based organization which consists of a committed group of professionals and counselors dedicated to promoting the mental, emotional and social well-being of those in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance use disorders.
We currently have a Outpatient Counselor positions available in Norfolk/Virgina Beach, Virginia.
**COMPETITIVE PAY**
Job Responsibilities: The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for providing mental health counseling services to individuals and families, as well as group counseling. These services are provided in a professional office setting or virtual upon the client's preference.
Skills & Knowledge: The Counselor must possess strong clinical skills, solid documentation skills, and strong verbal communication skills, must have experience providing individual and family counseling, and have experience working with persons with various mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. The Counselor must have experience and knowledge of crisis interventions and various therapeutic modalities. The Counselor must possess the skills and knowledge of successful rapport building, treatment planning, group counseling, evidenced-based counseling practices, diagnostic criteria, and assessment completion. The Counselor must know the impact of trauma on an individual’s functioning and have experience working with diverse populations.

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
