- Strong understanding of key family law concepts, including custody, support, property division, and domestic violence.
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, ensuring thorough attention to detail and meeting client needs.
- Conduct detailed legal research and draft comprehensive documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and experts to achieve successful case outcomes.
- Provide exceptional client service by listening to concerns, offering sound legal advice, and keeping clients informed throughout the process.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills during settlement discussions, advocating for clients while seeking amicable resolutions where appropriate.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings with persuasive and professional case presentation.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the firm.
- Stay current on changes in family law and legal practices to ensure clients receive informed and up-to-date counsel.
- Maintain a minimum of 1600 billable hours annually (approximately 6.5 hours daily).
- 2-5 years of family law experience required.
- Strong knowledge of family law principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
