Duties

- Perform procedures such as suturing and IV infusion while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Provide addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with nursing home staff to manage the healthcare needs of residents effectively.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Skills
- Proficient in performing medical-surgical procedures and physical examinations.
- Strong knowledge of acute care practices and standards for patient management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
