Primary Care Clinic seeking a Office Coordinator. Position is for Full-Time.
Job Description:
- Patient care: Greeting patients and visitors, answering questions, and providing support
- Scheduling: Scheduling appointments, reminding patients of appointments, and rescheduling late appointments
- Patient records: Maintaining patient records, including personal and financial information, and ensuring patient confidentiality
- Financial: Recording and collecting patient co-pays and account balances, and processing payments
- Administrative tasks: Entering data, filing records, and updating patient records
- Communication: Answering and routing phone calls, and coordinating with insurance companies, medical offices, and pathology labs
- Office maintenance: Keeping the reception area clean and presentable, and disinfecting surfaces
- Emergency preparedness: Responding to emergencies and helping patients in distress
- Compliance: Following policies and procedures, and complying with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Insurance verification
- EHR knowledge
Job Requirements:
- Must have more than 3 years' experience
- Customer Service Skills- Greet Patients
- English and Spanish- Mandatory
- Must be able to understand medical terminology
