Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the medical facility. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting relevant information.
- Manage medical support tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow and addressing any concerns that arise during visits with the provider
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Experience in performing vital signs is required. Experience with phlebotomy preferred but willing to train.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals and team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing daily tasks assigned by administration and providers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Office is a drug and smoke free environment, offer of employment contingent on drug testing.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
