Medical Scribe
Duties:
- Accompany physicians and healthcare providers during patient visits
- Document patient encounters, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Enter information into electronic medical records (EMR) system in real-time
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Prepare and organize medical records for review by physicians
Skills:
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in medical scribing for a family practice is a plus but not required
