Job Overview
Coordinate the daily operations of the walk-in crisis center and the food pantry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the volunteers are trained on crisis intervention protocols, client confidentiality and food pantry processes.
- Oversee the inventory and distribution of food and supplies, donors, and other community organizations and submit food stats.
- Ensure that the center complies with local, state and federal regulations regarding food safety, client confidentiality and crisis intervention.
- Provide necessary resources and referrals to clients.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience in the field
- 40 hours hotline training
- Good written communication and math skills
- Knowledge of community resources
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Bilingual (Spanish - English)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.19 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
