This is a full-time on-site role located in Kingston, NY, for a Case Manager - Domestic Violence Shelter. The Case Manager will be responsible for providing crisis intervention, care coordination, and support services to individuals in a domestic violence shelter. This includes conducting intakes, developing and implementing care plans, providing emotional support, and coordinating with other service providers. Additionally, the role involves advocating for clients' needs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Experience in crisis intervention, care coordination, and support services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of issues related to domestic violence and trauma
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a shelter or residential setting is a plus
- Bilingual skills are beneficial
