A Single-Family Office is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our Single-Family Office by providing data-driven insights across investment portfolios, financial planning, real estate holdings, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations that align with the office’s financial and investment goals. Direct experience with the HubSpot platform, including customization and integration of the system, required.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze investment portfolios, real estate assets, and private equity positions to assess performance and risk exposure.
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to provide real-time insights into asset performance.Collect, clean, and structure data from various sources (investment platforms, accounting software, market data providers).Monitor economic trends, market movements, and industry insights to provide timely recommendations.Investment & Financial Data ManagementSupport due diligence for new investments by compiling financial metrics, trend analysis, and benchmarking.
Track and analyze cash flow, liquidity, and return projections for the family office’s diverse investments.Real Estate & Business Holdings SupportAnalyze real estate portfolios, rental income trends, and operational costs to identify opportunities for value enhancement.
Develop financial forecasting models for owned businesses, startups, and other endeavors.Technology & AutomationUtilize Excel, or other software systems to automate reporting and enhance decision-making.
Develop processes to streamline data collection and analysis across financial and operational systems.Identify new technology solutions to enhance reporting efficiency.Candidate Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of in a data analytics, investment analysis, or financial reporting role (family office experience is a plus).Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Must have experience working in Hubspot. Comfortable with new technologies including the use of AI.Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling, including understanding of investment analysis, real estate finance, and wealth management principles.Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Experience working with alternative investments, private equity, or real estate assets is a plus.Excellent Communication Skills, independent thinker, and can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively with multiple individuals and organizations and to engage a wide range of stakeholders.Comfortable operating at both strategic and “roll up your sleeves” levels. Comfortable working with and protecting highly confidential information.Comfortable in non-office settings and in small business environments.
