Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on implementing behavior support plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support programs and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members, including behavior analysts, therapists, and educators, to ensure consistency in program implementation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and program outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing behavior support plans is a plus.
