We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team at Family Pet Clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients' pets, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all animals during grooming sessions.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals during grooming sessions and reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
Requirements
- Must have experience as we do not offer on the job training for this position
- Strong knowledge of different dog breeds, grooming techniques, and animal behavior.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, including restraint techniques when necessary
- Must be able to arrive and begin working at 7:30 am, Monday - Friday.
