What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion needed- aging client needing companionship and transport position at FAMILY PRESERVATION SERVICES?

Looking for companions and caregivers to join our home care family

Specific need: West Ashley, Mon, Wed, Fri 9 am- noon (9 hrs a week)

Essential Functions:

Companion/Sitter/Household Management

Provide companionship and respite services for family
Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms

Medication Assistance Services (with RN supervision and delegation)
Provide transportation to and from appointments, driving the clients car

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
A caring disposition, willing to learn
A valid US Drivers License
