Family Promise of Spokane is dedicated to equipping families and the Spokane community to end the cycle of homelessness. Last year, we successfully placed over 235 families into stable housing. Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in enhancing the organization’s digital presence, increasing engagement, and amplifying our mission through digital platforms. This position will be responsible for managing digital marketing campaigns, digital analysis, content creation, social media engagement, and website management to drive awareness and support for our programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop and manage content for social media platforms, website, and email campaigns to engage audiences and amplify our mission.
- Create compelling storytelling content, including graphics, videos, and written narratives that align with the organization's mission and core values.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media engagement and audience growth.
- Website & Digital Strategy
- Maintain and update website content to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Optimize digital content for SEO and accessibility best practices.
- Assist in developing digital advertising strategies, including Google Ads and social media promotions.
- Digital Advertising & Analytics
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to engage donors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to enhance content strategy.
- Analyze ad performance metrics and adjust strategies
- Brand & Communications Support
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and voice across all digital channels.
- Support fundraising campaigns by creating and executing digital marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to highlight success stories and impact updates.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Knowledge of website management (WordPress or similar CMS), basic HTML, and SEO best practices.
- Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Passion for social impact and alignment with Family Promise of Spokane’s mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Video editing skills and experience creating multimedia content.
- Familiarity with donor engagement and fundraising campaigns.
