The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of all facilities and grounds at FPTV. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general carpentry tasks. The Maintenance Specialist works closely with staff to address maintenance needs promptly, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. Additionally, the role requires maintaining detailed records of repairs and servicing schedules, adhering to safety regulations, and supporting the dignity, privacy, and safety of guests by performing tasks with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in similar positions, e.g., direct care, resident assistant, front desk work.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Due to federal funding, drug use, including marijuana, is prohibited during employment.
- Strong integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Passionate about ensuring excellent treatment and care for clients, staff, and vendors.
- Proficient multitasking skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Excellent problem solver
- Ability to take the lead in developing processes & systems within a defined ownership area
- Experience with training staff/volunteers

- Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation.

Pay Scale: $22-26/hr., DOE
Work Hours: Part-Time, Friday-Monday
