GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This is an instructional position performed under the supervision of the Education Coordinator. Duties involve planning, coordinating, and executing a program of instruction for an assigned group of infants and toddlers, which may include some children with disabilities. Important aspects of the work include the coordination of volunteers and others engaged in classroom and related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) with Infant/ Toddler endorsement, or an AA degree in Early Childhood Education (or related degree with emphasis in Infant/Toddler studies). Prefer one year of teaching experience in a childcare center or any combination of acceptable training and experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. A current physical, TB Screening or chest X-Ray, drug test, and background check are required prior to being hired. Applicants should list bilingual skills if applicable.
