SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
- Obtains Medicaid numbers for clients.
- Obtains client documents.
- Attends clinical staff meetings.
- Assists Clinical Director with program requirements.
- Processes all Parent Referrals, linkages, and follows-up with documentation.
- Tracks referrals and linkages.
- Assists in process of Obtaining Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) funding.
- Receives, screens, and processes referrals for parents. This is to include: clarification of what services are being requested and verifying Medicaid coverage, ensuring current coverage, informing case management of elapsed coverage, keeping a log of adults without Medicaid and following up with case management.
- Follows up with service providers to ensure parents have been linked with services and on occasion acts as Liaison between providers and case management.
- Logs all Level of Care Assessments (LOCA) cases in an internal spreadsheet, emails Case Managers to request referrals, expedites the referrals, follows up with providers to ensure a timely appointment date, obtains documentation for linkage purposes, and files documentation in Stabilify and FSFN.
- Provides support to case management and therapists with any clinical information/documentation requested.
- Complies with all the requirements of Safety Officer, including attendance of meetings.
- Responds to e-mails and phone calls daily and in a timely manner.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs of the agency.
- Maintains insurance verification spreadsheet for Adult Clients documented in Therasoft (for in-house and community providers). This Spreadsheet is reviewed and updated every month for Adult Clients.
- Contributes to the understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity within the agency and the community.
- Complies with all relevant JCAHO, COA, and DCF standards and regulations.
- Utilizes the agency’s resources in a fiscally conservative manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Director or designee.
- Requests and processes Fee Agreements and logs them into the spreadsheet.
- Sends emails alerting about Fee Agreements when there is case closure.
