As a part of our dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in supporting foster families and ensuring that children in our care have the loving homes they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Assist families through the foster parent licensing process and provide ongoing support to foster families.
• Specialize in providing either licensing or supportive services in high-volume geographic areas of Eastern Iowa.
• In blended roles, provide both licensing and support services in low-volume areas.
• Provide on-call support as required and be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel within Buchanan, Delaware, and Dubuque counties to meet client needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field (preferred: Master’s degree).
• Experience: At least 1 year of related experience (preferred: 2 years of experience, particularly in foster care and adoption).
• Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with appropriate insurance, and ability to pass a motor vehicle record background check.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $21.16 per hour (approximately $44,000 annually).
• Location: Based in Buchanan and Delaware Counties, with travel to Dubuque County.
• Flexible Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed.
