Qualifications:
- Education Required: Open
- Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance within a nonprofit or human services organization.
- Experience Preferred: financial experience with a non-profit organization.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and vehicle with appropriate auto insurance required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.
Position Specifics
- The standard schedule is 32 hours per week.
- Typical hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Full-time, nonexempt hourly position.
- The starting wage is $27.05 per hour (approximately $45,000 annually).
- Compensation may be adjusted based on education and experience, up to $30.05 per hour (approximately $50,000 annually).

- The position is based in Davenport, Iowa.
Position Details
The Coordinator - Finance performs a variety of accounting and administrative duties in the Finance Department. This is a professional financial position that requires a general knowledge of accounting principles. This position is responsible for reporting and monitoring the financial activity of State and Federal grants and handles reporting this activity to various funding sources. Duties include financial tie-outs, assisting with month-end financials, processing payroll, grant budget revisions, grant budgeting/tracking, insurance billing, insurance denials and payments, and participating in grant-funded site visits and audits. This position must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. A flexible schedule may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
