Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Open.
  • Education Preferred: Associate degree in non-profit development work or a related field.
  • Experience Required: Open.
  • Experience Preferred: 2 years in fundraising and event management. 
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and vehicle with appropriate auto insurance required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.

 

Position Specifics

  • Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week.
  • Position Hours are typically Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Full-time position.
  • Nonexempt hourly position.
  • $27.86 per hour estimated at $46,357.00 per year.
  • Comprehensive benefits are offered.

 

Position Details

The Coordinator - Events & Marketing is responsible for internal and external activities, including but not limited to event planning, marketing, education, awareness, outreach, and special events. This position will focus on promoting the agency’s mission through impactful events and strategic marketing efforts. This position collaborates with the Coordinator - Volunteer Relations and the Coordinator - Annual Giving to ensure consistency in engagement with community partners, donors, and volunteers. This position must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Chief Development Officer. This position will need to have a flexible schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
