Position Summary:
Family Rise Together is seeking a professionally nimble, authentic, balanced, and self-motivated individual who values compassion, cultural sensitivity, and humanity to fulfill the role of (Pursue) Housing Program Coordinator. Utilizing a strong trauma-informed approach, the Housing Program Coordinator will provide guidance, support, and empathy to the tenants of Pursue Housing. And assist them as they work to transition from long-term homelessness to permanent housing stability. This position requires a unique set of skills, including unending patience, understanding, perseverance, tenacity, innovative and creative problem solving, and the ability to pivot gracefully in an ever-changing work environment.
The core focus of this role is to deliver Housing Stabilization Services and Housing Support Services to individuals receiving housing-support assistance through St. Louis County. The Housing Program Coordinator will work to develop and implement individualized goals that support all aspects of our client’s pursuit of housing.
Additionally, the Housing Program Coordinator will work closely alongside and under the direction of the Housing Director to support and grow our Housing Program exponentially over time. Work to build community relationships with other housing/community organizations and landlords. The ideal candidate will be professionally agile, as this role crosses all spectrums of the housing community and truly touches all aspects of our Housing Program. From the day-to-day operations of our Homes, the daily comings and goings of our tenants, creating person-center housing plans, organizing the intake of new tenants, and extensively networking outside of our organization to build relationships and provide resources for those we strive to serve.

Our Housing Program Coordinator will hold the safety, dignity, respect, individuality, community, and the humanity of our tenants in all aspects of their position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Complete intakes of new tenants moving into Pursue Housing Programs and conduct showings if required.
· Provide Housing Stabilization Services to individuals both inside and outside of the Pursue Housing Program.
· Coordinate Completion of all documentation related to sustaining the funding of program participants.
· Execute timely completion of all program related documentation to ensure the continuity of the services we provide.
· Work closely with Housing Director to grow the Pursue Housing Program with both Site-Based Congregate and Scattered-Site Settings.
· Coordinate Services with a wide array of other Family Rise Together programs and community organizations to benefit both our tenants and outside clients.
· Provide crisis assessment and intervention development for anyone experiencing difficulties with their mental health, recovery, and life challenges.
· Conduct regular in-home and community visits for individuals receiving Housing Support services, addressing progress, providing support, and coordinating referrals and transportation as needed.
· Teach/Model: Life Skills, Coping Skills, Supportive-to-Housing Skills.
· Provide Empathetic Listening, Validation, and Support to all Clients/Tenants and Staff.
- Provide culturally responsive housing and supportive services to recipients and/or their families in the home or community.
· Remain attentive to tenant’s and client’s needs while maintaining healthy boundaries that support their independence.
· Advocate for individual’s rights with professionalism while maintaining their dignity and supporting their strengths, wants and needs.
· Uphold the responsibility of maintaining a safe, supportive, and functioning home environment for our tenants.
· Maintain accurate records of program requirements, client interactions, and community involvement.
· Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and work required tasks are completed in a timely manner.
· Maintain Tenant/Client confidentiality and adhere to all guidelines and requirements set forth by HIPPA standards.
· Maintain consistent Continuing Education Trainings and attend all required company training opportunities and meetings.
· Must maintain a minimal weekly billable hour average for Housing Stabilization Services.
· Will work closely with the Housing Director to meet the needs of tenant’s and client’s needs that may arise outside of regular working hours.
· Will provide leadership, mentorship, and training to new staff.
· Will exercise creative and innovative problem solving in all aspects of job duties.
· Remain enthusiastic and open-minded to an endless array of diverse tasks and job duties in our growing program and company.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Must pass a Department of Human Services background study and sexual exploitation screening.

Expectations
· Applicant is Expected to Complete 30 Billable Hours of Housing Stabilization Services each week.
· Applicant is Expected to Comply with ALL DHS & FRT Training Requirements in Required Time Frames with Adequate Competency
· Applicant Must Be willing to meet all Staffing Requirements in compliance with Pursue Housing Programming. Including intermittent on-call duties, emergencies, and crisis management.
About Pursue Housing,
Family Rise Together’s Pursue Housing Program provides housing opportunities to Men (and their children) who are predominantly members of the BIPoC community. Our tenants are those who are experiencing barriers to housing and often Father’s experiencing barriers to parenting. Pursue Housing is small, but growing housing program that is funded by MN/St. Louis County Housing Support’s Long-Term-Homelessness (LTH) program. We work to not only provide housing to our tenants, but we also offer Housing Stabilization Services (HSS), Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS), supportive Family Reunification efforts (GKC), and a wide array of other beneficial supports to assist our tenants in their personal housing and life goals.
