Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated child Mental health provider to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, and offer time away for their caregiver. You will work closely with out team to implement treatment plans and promote a safe, environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Monitor and document clients' behavior, mood, and progress throughout their treatment.
- Provide support during group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities.
- Engage clients in various therapeutic modalities, including art therapy, to promote self-expression and healing.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by maintaining a secure environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss client progress and any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educate clients on coping strategies and resources available for mental health support.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Qualifications
- A background in childcare or related field preferred.
- Experience or training in mental health practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
