Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for children, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Manage children's behavior in a positive manner, using effective behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Support children's social skills through group activities and interactions.
- Stay informed about child development trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, daycare, or early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- Experience with behavior management strategies to effectively handle various situations with children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with children of all ages, particularly toddlers.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.
