The Family Safety Network of Cass, Hubbard, and Clearwater Counties in Northeast Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services for victims of intimate partner violence and advocating for social change to interrupt the cycle of violence.
Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our organization in advancing its mission, vision, and values. The successful candidate will have experience in nonprofit management, particularly in domestic violence advocacy, and possess a strong understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization in strategic planning to maximize program services and equity.
- Cultivate a shared leadership and inclusive organizational culture.
- Maintain a strong and transparent relationship with the Board, ensuring accountability and strategic alignment.
Advocacy and Community Relations:
- Serve as the organization's primary spokesperson, representing us to external stakeholders.
- Lead fundraising efforts through donor cultivation, fundraising events, and community outreach.
- Maintain relationships with existing donors and seek new partnerships with foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Operations and Infrastructure:
- Foster an inclusive work environment that supports staff and client needs.
- Assess internal structures and ensure clarity in decision-making, staff roles, and responsibilities.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff and assess compensation packages to ensure competitiveness.
