The Youth Justice (YJ) Learning & Capability team is currently seeking a suitable candidate for the role of Learning and Capability Consultant - Leadership Development (VPS 5).
About The Role
As a Learning and Capability Consultant, you will play a vital role in developing training programs, as well as strengthening leadership capability across Youth Justice. You will:
- Designing, developing, and update training programs for YJ staff and managers
- Delivering leadership development programs, including coaching and mentoring training
- Collaborate with the Operational Leadership and Capability team to enhance existing training programs, workplace coaching and outcomes
- Through training, support change management and leadership development within Youth Justice.
We are seeking an experienced learning and development professional with:
- Expertise in leadership development, coaching, and mentoring
- A strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles
- Experience in justice environments (preferrably Youth Justice)
- Experience delivering leadership training, particularly in complex or high-pressure environments
- The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Full-time, fixed-term role starting as soon as possible
- Work locations: Cherry Creek, Parkville, and Melbourne CBD (flexibility to deliver training across locations is essential
- Reporting to the Manager, Design - Learning & Capability team
- VPS5 classification
- Position available until June 2026.
