About The Role
This is a Fixed Term Position 12mths
The Team Leader People Operations & Improvement position is responsible for leading the HR Operations function within People and Culture. The role will lead the HR Operations team who are instrumental in managing day-to-day HR operations and maintaining people and position data for the DoT portfolio and associated entities.
The Team Leader People Operations & Improvement position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement projects across DoT and ensures the HR Operations function provides a customer centric and efficient issue resolution experience.

A key aspect of the role is developing capability within the team by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth. You will empower team members through effective delegation and mentorship, ensuring a high-performance culture.

- Customer Resolutions – The Team Leader People Operations & Improvement has provided timely and accurate end to end customer resolutions for escalated HR Operations queries and processes.
- Continuous Improvement – has led initiatives to create and implement process improvements to the HR Operations operating rhythm, resolving recurring customer issues and concerns.
- HR Operations Strategy – has led the implementation of HR Operations strategic roadmap and has developed strong relationships with key business stakeholders internally and externally.
- Effective People Leadership – The Team Leader People Operations & Improvement has provided effective leadership, people management and support to their team. Staff are engaged with high levels of cohesion and commitment and are delivering on the services required.
- Promote and support safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations.
