Training and Engagement Officer
The Training and Engagement Officer is responsible for supporting communication of procurement policy, procedures, tools, templates and coordinating training administration and related administration.
The responsibilities of the Training and Engagement Officer will include:
The position of Training and Engagement Officer forms a part of the Finance, Investment and Procurement branch within the Corporate Services group.
The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and the close out of activities related to the Commonwealth Games.

Training and Engagement Officer
- Salary: $95,102 - $107,905 (Plus Superannuation)
- Ongoing role
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)
The Training and Engagement Officer is responsible for supporting communication of procurement policy, procedures, tools, templates and coordinating training administration and related administration.
The responsibilities of the Training and Engagement Officer will include:
- Support the Manager Procurement Policy and Governance in driving contemporary, fit-for-purpose policy, training, and related material to ensure DJSIR's procurement environment is aligned with the Victorian Government Purchasing Board requirements and compliance is optimised.
- Build and maintain relationships across the Procurement Centre and with DJSIR business managers and buyers to understand requirements and continuously improve understanding of, and access to, procurement related information and training.
- Work with Procurement Centre managers to continuously review, update and communicate policy, templates, and training artefacts.
The position of Training and Engagement Officer forms a part of the Finance, Investment and Procurement branch within the Corporate Services group.
