Branch Support Specialist
Reports To : Branch Support Manager
Grade : 8
Classification : Non-Exempt
Role
To provide support to all credit union branches and ensure all support calls are handled in a courteous manner while providing prompt, accurate, and efficient assistance.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with branch support calls which include answering general questions from branch staff regarding all areas of branch operations.
- Analyzing and providing overrides as needed.
- Maintains a current and comprehensive knowledge of all related credit union policies and procedures.
- Assists branch staff with IRA transactions to include opening new IRA accounts, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and reporting.
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to branch operations.
- Ensure all work related to branch support activities are compliant with credit union policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and complete basic audit corrections in relation to signature cards and loans.
- Monitor auto loan payoffs to notify members to potentially cancel GAP and Warranty contracts, and send GAP cancellation letters to auto dealers when required.
- Compile credit insurance reports to send to our third-party insurance provider.
- Monitor the daily Regulation E report
- Monitor and work the 30-day missing title report.
- Monitor and work the Net Teller CIF report.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
