Family Service & Children’s Aid is Hiring Billing/Credentialing Specialist:

Looking for someone with a Certification in CPT Coding and Credentialing experience. This position keeps the Agency going! Billing and Credentialing is the life blood of any operation. POSITION SUMMARY:

In conjunction with the CAO, supports the agency’s systems in the areas of record keeping for the agency’s Insurance and client billing revenue sources.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. *All client billing accounts, including third party insurance and bad debt accounts.

2. *Collection procedures for the agency.

3. Ability to exercise problem-solving skills related to resolving billing and coding problems

4. Review client billing information for accuracy.

5. Billing with Contractor provided software.

6. Credentialing of all Insurances and Contractor billing for therapists at Agency.

7. Fulfills the requirements of all agency systems for statistical record keeping, reporting, program evaluation, quality assurance, internal control and attendance monitoring as appropriate to the position.

8. *Maintains strict confidentiality of case records and client information according to HIPAA, agency confidentiality policy, and social work ethics

9. All other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Certified in CPC and CPB.

· 3 to 5 years experience in related fields of medical/insurance billing, (CPT, ICD10 and Modifier Codes.

· Computer experience (excel/word), and basic accounting knowledge.

· Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and relationships essential to the position.

· Demonstrated ability to organize and manage tasks relevant to the position.

· Cultural sensitivity.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Ability to move 20 pounds as needed.
