Position Summary
The HR Recruiting Coordinator provides comprehensive recruiting and onboarding support to ensure efficient talent acquisition processes. This position works closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Specialist to facilitate recruitment activities, manage candidate communications, and support new hire integration. The role is essential in maintaining recruiting operations and providing administrative support to the HR department's recruiting functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Screens resumes and applications against position requirements to identify qualified candidates
- Manages recruiter email inbox, ensuring timely responses to candidate inquiries and maintaining professional communication
- Maintains candidate disposition records in the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate status updates and documentation
- Monitors and engages with social recruiting platforms to enhance employer brand presence and candidate engagement
- Maintains recruiting metrics and generates regular reports on recruitment activities
- Coordinates and attends career fairs and community recruiting events, serving as a company representative
- Researches and identifies local job fairs and community recruiting opportunities
- Provides support to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Specialist throughout the recruiting process
- Assists with scheduling interviews, coordinating assessment tasks, and facilitating hiring team communications
- Supports recruitment marketing initiatives across various platforms
- Serves as backup to Talent Acquisition Specialist for essential recruiting functions
- Conducts new hire orientation presentation
- Assists with the onboarding process
- Ensures compliance with hiring policies and procedures
- Updates job postings across various platforms as needed
- Special projects as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
- Must successfully pass the KBI, DCF Central Registry and all background investigations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of recruiting or HR coordination experience, preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR information systems, preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with social media platforms and recruiting tools, preferred
