Your Role
We seek a highly skilled Bilingual Social Worker to join our team at the Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip. You will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality mental health services to those requiring it. Delivering these services will involve thorough assessments, tailored care plans, therapy sessions, and crisis interventions in accordance with OMH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive services including but not limited to evaluations, treatment plans, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
- Provide individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a range of DSM diagnoses.
- Prioritize trauma-informed approaches, cultural sensitivity, and linguistic competence in service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals such as case workers and therapists to develop comprehensive care strategies.
- Participate actively in routine supervision and team meetings.
- Attend required trainings and workshops as assigned.
