We are seeking an experienced Family Development Specialist to join our team at Family Service League Inc.! As a key member of our Home Base program in Bay Shore, you will be responsible for providing direct service to target populations, documenting progress, and tracking milestones. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with OMH, DSS, and FSL parameters to deliver effective support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both youth and parents in service delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of community resources are also essential. A valid NYS Driver's License is required for frequent travel to conduct home visits.
About the Role:
- Conduct home visits and document client interactions to track progress toward identified outcomes.
- Provide anger management and parenting skills training to promote positive relationships.
- Collaborate with the skill builder to achieve client goals and refer clients as needed for additional support.
