Family Service League Inc. is a social services agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, children, and families in our community.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Family Service League Inc., you will be part of a multi-disciplined team providing behavioral health services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Develop individualized nursing screenings and interventions for consumers.
- Assist with determining medical care needs and other services to support wellness and consumer health.
- Facilitate education on prevention, health, wellness, diet, smoking cessation, and recovery.
- Communicate with pharmacy and housing providers.
- Ensure all consumers have primary care providers and receive annual physical and dental examinations.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current New York State License required.
- At least 2 years of experience working with adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders required.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required; experience with an EMR is preferred.
- Valid and clean NYS Driver's License required.
