Job Summary
As a Counselor, you will provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with diverse needs, including mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document all clinical interactions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work required.
- LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or related licensed clinical degree required.
- Minimum one year of experience in a behavioral health setting; clinic experience preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
