Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Social Worker for our Mental Health Clinic in East Hampton.
The successful candidate will provide evaluation, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to children, families, and adults with various DSM diagnoses.
Services are delivered in a trauma-informed, culturally competent manner, adhering to OMH standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and family therapy sessions to children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults with diverse DSM diagnoses.
- Provide crisis intervention services during scheduled work hours as required.
- Complete all clinical documentation in the electronic medical record according to OMH standards.
- Collaborate with other family contacts, care coordination providers, and attend routine supervision meetings.
- Participate in agency-mandated training sessions.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in social work is mandatory.
- LMSW, LCSW, or Limited Permit is required.
- A minimum of one year's experience in a behavioral health setting is necessary; clinic experience is preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and applying therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Bilingual Spanish is highly valued.
