Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Family Service League Inc.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in social work and be licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, or hold a Limited Permit.
A minimum of one year's experience in a behavioral health setting is required, with clinic experience being a definite advantage.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation/assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention to individuals and families with behavioral health needs.
- Collaborate with other family members, care coordination providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with OMH standards.
- Participate in routine supervision and team meetings.
- Attend agency-mandated trainings and professional development opportunities.
- Identify and recommend additional referrals as needed.
