SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Bilingual Advocate for the Huntington Family Center. The Bilingual Program Assistant will greet guests and identify the initial purpose for their visit and direct accordingly. The Bilingual Program Assistant will provide support with activities and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Bilingual Program Assistant will assist with administrative duties, such as consumer correspondence, referral information gathering, and staff scheduling.
- Meet and greet visitors.
- Maintain inventory of program supplies and order as needed.
- Schedule appointments for clients for support programs.
- Create and update intake records in Accumed.
- The Bilingual Program Assistant will perform concrete services as needed.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, receiving messages and directing accordingly.
- Assist Program Director as needed.
- Operate office equipment.
- The Bilingual Program Assistant will complete program trainings as assigned.
- Represent the agency in community-based initiatives.
- Co-facilitate/participate in center sponsored activities.
- Understands and supports FSL’s mission, organization-wide goals and program objectives.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience working with multicultural population required.
Ability to muti-task and work in a high-volume community-based family center.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
Bilingual in Spanish required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position often requires sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
