SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Stepping Stones PROS Program, located in Huntington, NY. The Program Assistant will perform essential duties to aid in daily program operations. The Program Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including general office duties, data entry, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Program Assistant will perform general office responsibilities include answering telephones and faxes, taking and forwarding messages, and communicating with clients and staff.
- Assist with referrals and scheduling appointments
- Maintaining, organizing and filing documents
- Assist with obtaining supplies and utilize an electronic requisition to order supplies, assist custodian with petty cash, track and record income and expenses
- The Program Assistant will oversee building operations and needed maintenance and cleaning. Report issues as needed.
- Data entry functions include entering new client data, scheduling appointments, scanning paper documents, tracking daily attendance and completing monthly billing, etc.
- The Program Assistant will maintain operation of technology including phones, fax machine, copy machine and scanner
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and provide assistance to staff and clients as needed
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma required.
At least one year of related experience working in an office setting required.
Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, required.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records is strongly preferred.
Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires sitting and using the computer for extended periods of time
